Members Ewing High School and the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf’s FIRST Robotics team participated in Lore Elementary School’s field day on May 31, 2013. Students from kindergarten through fifth grade met a robot named Prowler and watched it throw flying discs onto tarps. Many students expressed interest in taking the robotics class set to be offered at Fisher Middle School next year. Pictured are team adviser Cindy Hutchinson, team members Amber Thomas, Alison Volz, Lore teacher Tracy Radler and team members Matt Quinn, Erin Rein and Patrick O’Callahan.
