On April 2, World Autism Awareness Day, adult participants of Eden Autism Services worked to raise awareness at the Saker ShopRite of East Windsor. Participants handed out facts sheets on autism, complimentary jar openers and offered to bag groceries for guests as they checked out.

Eden’s adult participants also delivered flowers donated by Big Woods Nursery to their neighbors as well as some of the local businesses they frequent.

The initiative was formed by Eden students, staff and adult participants who wanted to give back to the community. Eden participants plan to continue their efforts to give back throughout the month of April.
