Bordentown Township Mayor Jim Cann recently announced the township’s upcoming annual Community Day, slated for September 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Senior Community Center located on Municipal Drive in the township.This year’s event includes new entertainment for the children, face painting, balloon animals, games, prizes, a moon bounce ride and more. There will also be a free fortune teller, a live band, a caricaturist, indoor music, an antique car show and free food—featuring wings, pizza, hot dogs, Dunkin Donuts, Rita’s Water Ice, beverages, desserts, cotton candy and funnel cake. Cinderella and a friendly pirate will make an appearance. The event will also feature many new crafters that offer a huge array of interesting wares, as well as informational booths by the dozen including, “Going Green” environmentally-friendly displays.“Please join in celebrating our 18th annual Community Day in Bordentown Township. We welcome your families, neighbors, friends and resident residents. This is a rain or shine event,” a township press release stated.
