Bordentown Jaguars 04 girls’ soccer team takes Presidents Cup

On Sunday, Nov. 4, the Bordentown Jaguars 04 girls’ soccer team defeated the Wall Elite Fury to win the U14 NJYS Presidents Cup.

After playing full regulation time, as well as two overtimes to a scoreless tie, Bordentown prevailed 5-4 on penalty kicks after goalkeeper Khushmit Sidhu was able to knock aside the Fury’s final shot.

The team was honored with a proclamation from the mayor, and Nov. 20 was declared Bordentown Jaguars Day.

Bordentown will now represent New Jersey at the 2018 US Youth Soccer Region I Championship in Virginia.
