Farnsworth Avenue is ready for the 2015 Restaurant Week. From March 29 to April 3, enjoy special prix fixe menus from some of your favorite Bordentown eateries during this week, sponsored by Downtown Bordentown Association. Jester’s Café

This classic Bordentown hotspot features an American bistro menu with an Italian flare. Owner Mike Scotto is an Italian native and brings an original style to Farnsworth Avenue. Throughout the year, choose from a variety of popular pasta dishes. Restaurant Week entrees include mahi mahi tacos and ceviche with jumbo tiger shrimp.

Marcello’s Restaurant and Tomato Pie

Opened under new management in 2004, Marcello’s is expanding its restaurant space with a new alfresco dining area. Find old school Italian flavors with fresh seafood and salads in this popular spot. Dine in with an excellent menu, or grab a pizza to take out. Restaurant Week entrees include rabbit taglietelle and frenched pork chop with sweet potato hash.

Oliver, A Bistro

Chef

Matthew McElmoyl has a range of experience in restaurants across the area and even the country. His cooking influences include French techniques paired with Mediterranean and Asian ingredients. Restaurant Week entrees include jambalaya and mussels fritte with coconut red thai curry.

Toscano Ristorante

A cozy bar and comfortable dining room make this Farnsworth favorite a memorable experience. Toscano is open for dinner every day of the week. Restaurant Week entrees include a house-made fillet of sirloin and Grouper Francaise.

Under The Moon Café

Under The Moon is now in its ninth year of operation since being founded by Estela Buontempo Orosco and Santiago Orosco. The mother and son team serve family recipes from generations of their Argentine heritage. Restaurant Week entrees include creamy chicken gorgonzola and almond encrusted swai fillet.

The Vault

With fresh imported ingredients and a historic vibe, The Vault Authentic Wood Fire Pizzeria serves one-of-a-kind pizzas and Italian dishes. The restaurant is set in a historic bank with a vault built in 1876. The Vault’s pizzas are baked for 60 to 90 seconds at 900 degrees, producing a charred and crispy yet chewy crust. Restaurant Week entrees include 10-inch margherita and bianca pizzas.

HOB Tavern

Standing for “Heart of Bordentown,” this tavern is appropriately located in the center of town. Grab a quick cold brew or choose from their American faire. Menu items like the Clara Barton and Thomas Paine sandwiches allude to Bordentown’s rich history. Restaurant Week entrees include fish and chips and vegetable lasagna.
