YWCA Princeton is set to host International Community Day 2 to 5 p.m. April 14 at 59 Paul Robeson Place, Princeton.
The event honors the cultures of the YWCA’s English as a Second Language program students, as well as residents of the Princeton community and neighboring areas.
Students and participants are set to showcase their talents through cultural exhibits, traditional clothing, performances of song, dance and martial arts and global cuisine.
The event features traditional Indian dance, Contra dance, Japanese flower arrangement, Spanish flamenco dance, karate demonstration, Costa Rican dance, Iranian mirrors display, international food samples, Russian glassware display, ethnic garments display, arts and crafts, Henna tattoos and children’s activities.
The YWCA’s ESL Program is recognized across Central New Jersey for its class offerings during the past nine decades.
International Community Day is free and open to the public.
