Plainsboro Township Police Department’s Community Outreach Resource and Education Unit graduated two Youth Police Academy classes in July. The students learned about the Plainsboro Fire Department and emergency medical services. During each of the five-day training sessions the students participated in rigorous physical training and team building exercises. “The academy focused on empowering the students through self-development exercises and learning how to safeguard themselves and their families,” reported Sergeant Joseph Duffy.
The graduation ceremony was held in the municipal courtroom with Deputy Mayor Neil Lewis in attendance. A reception followed.
