Santa Claus is coming to township neighborhoods with a fire escort to help him on his way. Firefighters from Plainsboro, West Windsor, and Princeton Junction volunteer fire departments will guide the annual guest on fire trucks to just about every area of the two towns. Please do not call the police department for any information.

The Plainsboro Fire Company’s annual Santa Ride takes place Friday, December 17, and Saturday, December 18. The rain date is set for Sunday, December 19. “We’ll be making a scheduled stop in each Plainsboro neighborhood,” said Chief Doug Vorp of the Plainsboro Fire Company. “That allows us to bring Santa Claus to each development and cover the entire township.”

Signs will also be posted at each of the 38 stops in 27 neighborhoods. Because the scheduled stop times are approximate, Chief Vorp recommends residents arrive at the stop early and be prepared for a possible late arrival. In the event inclement weather or a major emergency causes a postponement, changes will be posted at www.plainsborofire.com or call 609-799-0492.
