The Yardley Players are set to present the French farce A Flea in Her Ear at Kelsey Theatre.

Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Sept. 20, 21, 27 and 28; and 2 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 29. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Sept. 20.
Penned in 1907 by the French playwright Georges Feydeau, this latest version by David Ive retains the original show’s merriment, while adding some wackiness that keeps it as fresh and funny today as it was a century ago.
In the play, Raymonde suspects her husband of having an affair and decides to catch him in the act. Her plot backfires, leading to a rapid succession of twists and turns as the entire cast ends up at a hotel that is known for romantic rendezvous. What follows is nothing short of chaos as cast members chase each other through doors, over beds, out windows and more.
