West Windsor Community Farmers Market opens its 11th season on Saturday, May 3, and continues weekly through November 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market, hosting 15 farms and 11 artisan food and natural product vendors, will be open rain or shine.
Products for sale include fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, eggs, woven fibers, soap, baked goods, flowers, honey, sauces, jams, fresh juices, crepes, and more. New vendors this year include Shibumi Mushroom Farm, Frank’s Pickled Peppers, and Good Enough For Kids, a healthy snack food company. There will also be weekly cooking demonstrations by local chefs and a cooking basics series on the second Saturday of each month.
Opening day activities include music by Ed Goldberg & the Odessa Klezmer Band, blood pressure screenings by Princeton Healthcare System, massage by the Touch That Heals, a walk from Maurice Hawk School, and a cooking demonstration by Allie O’Brien.
