Prerna Gupta and John Denton were married November 28 at Rasoi Palace in Monmouth Junction. Both are graduates of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Gupta in 1993 and Denton in 1990.
The bride, a graduate of Mercer Community College and Kutztown University, is pursuing a master’s degree as a reading specialist at Rider. She teaches special education at Brookfield School. Her parents are Sushila and Sat Gupta of West Windsor.
Bridal attendants included her sisters, Neena Gupta and Renuka Gupta, also graduates of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School; her niece and nephew, Alisha McDonnell and Thomas McDonnell; Therase McCantee, Renuka’s girlfriend; and Ravi Jain, a friend of the family.
The bridegroom received certification in construction from Mercer County Vocational School and has been working at ACE Hardware in Princeton for close to 12 years. He is the son of Marge Denton of Key West, Florida.
A volunteer fireman with Princeton Fire Department, Denton arrived at the wedding via a Monmouth Junction Fire Department fire truck. His attendants included his sister, Amy Rittler, also a graduate of WW-P High School; his mother, Marge Denton; and Paul Weichler, Amy’s boyfriend.
The couple lives in Hamilton.
