The Tale of the Little Mermaid” will be performed by the West Windsor Plainsboro Dance Company at Grover Middle School, on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 13, at 1 p.m. Be prepared for a rockin’ and rollin’ adventure above and below the sea in a narrated version of the timeless classic featuring ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and hip hop dancers ranging in age from three to adult. Leading the cast of 150 dancers is Jennifer Rogers, a junior at High School South, who portrays Ariel and her longing for the world above the sea. Marissa Wiener, a sophomore at High School North, portrays her nemesis Ursula, the sea witch.
Soloists include Hope Jin, a junior at High School North, as Scuttle; Danielle Erickson, a sophomore at High School South, as Flounder; and Elizabeth Wembacher, a junior at High School South as Sebastian.
