Take a trip back to the 1960s during M&M Stage Productions’ classic French farce Boeing, Boeing at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre.

Bernard, a high-flying pilot, is living the good life romantically speaking. He has an apartment in Paris and is engaged to three gorgeous stewardesses, Gabriella, Gloria and Gretchen, who know nothing about each other. But this ladies’ man is headed for some turbulent times when a newer, speedier Boeing jet throws off his carefully planned schedule and his friend, Robert, comes to stay.

Soon all three of his women are in town simultaneously and poor, timid Robert is caught in the middle, not sure who’s who and which lies to tell which lovely lady.

First performed in Paris in the 1960s, Boeing, Boeing was adapted for the British and Broadway stages shortly after. A revival of the show came to London in 2007 and was performed on Broadway in 2008, winning the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.

The cast includes Elio Lleo of Ewing as Bernard; Ashley DiStefano DeAntonio of Hamilton as Gloria; Susan Galli of Hopewell as Berthe, the housekeeper; Andrew Timmes of Lawrenceville as Robert; Kyla Mostello Donnelly of Levittown, Pennsylvania, as Gabriella; and Jennifer Nicholas of New Brunswick as Gretchen.

Flight attendants who will be “attending” to the action before and after the show are Nicholas Kianka of Hamilton, Madison Kotnarowski of Trenton, Christopher Schmalbach of Palmyra and Haley Schmalbach of Palmyra.

The show’s production team includes Producers Mike Almstedt and Mike DiIorio, Director Sheldon Bruce Zeff and Stage Manager Angela Fasanella. Costumes are by Louisa Murey and lighting is by M. Kitty Getlik.

Performances will be held Fridays, Feb. 17 and 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Feb. 18 and 25 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Feb. 19 and 26 at 2 p.m.

Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $14 for students. This show is not recommended for children.

Tickets are available at kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Theatre Box Office at (609) 570-3333.
