Heather Diaforli, a new music teacher in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, appears in Off Broadstreet’s “Hot ‘N Cole: A Cole Porter Celebration” running now through December 4. The revue features 46 Cole Porter songs.
Diaforli teaches music at Grover Middle School, and Maurice Hawk and Village elementary schools. A Kingston resident, she graduated from Franklin Township High School. A graduate of the College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s in musical education, she received her master’s degree in musical theater from Boston Conservatory. In school, she appeared in “Into the Woods,” “Brigadoon,” and “Sweeney Todd.” She has performed with the College Light Opera Company, Ridge Light Opera, and the Women’s Theater Company.
This is her fourth appearance at Off Broadstreet. She has been seen in “A Class Act,” “Caught in the Net,” and “The Spitfire Grill.” Diaforli is featured in songs “It’s DeLovely,” “I’m Throwin’ a Ball Tonight,” “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home to,” “In the Morning,” and “Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye.”
