American technology entrepreneur Greg Olsen will share his space adventures as the official kick-off to the 2006 Summer Forum Series at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Sunday, July 9, at 9:45 a.m.. Olsen, founder of the West Windsor-based EPITAXX and Sensors Unlimited, will share sights, sounds, and experiences from his October, 2005 seven-day visit to the International Space Station, and more than 3 million miles of travel in space, and more than 100 orbits of earth. ##M:[more]##

The Summer Forum Series, an educational ministry of Prince of Peace, is open to the public and free of charge, will take place on Sundays from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. throughout the summer. For information visit www.popnj.org or call 609-799-1753.

The Summer Forum Series, an educational ministry of Prince of Peace, is designed to offer helpful information and a safe place for conversation about the social, political, and spiritual issues of the day. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is located at 177 Princeton-Hightstown Road, West Windsor.

“Senior Sense” presented by Barbara Clancey, director of senior programs for Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey. Free. Sunday, July 30, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

“Multicultural Music Camp” presented by Andrea Baxter, Kate Chen, and Christin Barnhardt featuring the music of Japan and Brazil with 20 young musicians. Free. Sunday, August 6, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

“Mission Trip Momentos” focuses on the experience of recovery efforts in the Gulf Coast in last year’s hurricanes. Free. Sunday, August 13, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

“Akaloo Disciple Resources,” presented by Chris Duckworth of Augsburg Fortress Publishers, focuses on a new congregational approach to making disciples for all ages. Free. Sunday, August 20, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
