Plainsboro resident Anthony Aloi qualified for the 110th New Jersey State Golf Association’s amateur championship by tying for ninth, with a 74, on May 23 at White Beeches in Haworth. He advances to the State Amateur, held June 7-9 at Trump National in Bedminster.
North junior Charles Cai qualified on May 23 for the Metropolitan Golf Association’s Ike Stroke Play Championship June 27-28 at Somerset Hills in Bernardsville. He tied for medalist with a 71 at Raritan Valley Country Club.
