North: Joe Rosa took first place at the Briarwood Invitational on September 19 in Philadelphia. North took first place 63-68 over LaSalle, which placed second. In his victory, Rosa broke the record he set last year at the event. That record time was 15:33.1. This year, he finished the course with a time of 15:19.3. Jim Rosa placed second in the event, with a time of 15:38. Jon Squeri placed sixth, with a time of 16:17. Casey Dalrymple placed 14th with a time of 16:55. Pat O’Connell placed 40th with a time of 18:05.
South: A first place finish, with 34 points, at the Cherokee Challenge on September 12. Sam Macaluso finished second in the Senior Division. Brian Schoepfer placed fourteenth in the Junior Division. Dan Sheldon placed 8th in the Sophomore Division. Dan Riff placed tenth in the Freshman Division.
