#b#After Big Summer, Jensen Eyes MLB Draft#/b#

In his senior season at Clinton, New York’s Hamilton College, 2011 High School North graduate Joe Jensen is coming off a successful summer with the Trenton Generals baseball team.

The three-sport athlete, who opted to forgo his final football season to focus on track and baseball, has previously been named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference track and football teams — the first athlete to do so in Hamilton College history — and selected as a Preseason All-American in track and football. He also qualified for the 2014 NCAA Track & Field championships at the University of Nebraska, where he was the 400 meter dash runner up.

With the Generals, Joe helped lead the squad to its first Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL) championship this summer and played in the ACBL All Star game. He was recently contacted by the Major League Scouting Bureau, who informed him that he was entered into the 2015 MLB First Year Player Draft, to be held June 8, 2015.
