The WWP Fusion U-19 girls team defeated East Brunswick, 4-0, on May 4. Veronica Spann scored two goals, one on a penalty kick and the other on an assist from Jackie Kercheval. Kercheval scored on a penalty kick. Anisha Chadda scored the last goal on an assist from Kercheval. Chelsea Corell and Allie Pungello shared the shutout.

Plainsboro resident Amanda Thomas, a sophomore on the Gettysburg College’s track and field team, finished eigth in the javelin (99-1) on the third day of the Centennial Conference Championship on May 4.

Princeton Junction resident and Colgate University senior Matt Lalli scored a career-high seven points from three goals and four assists to lead his team to a 12-11 upset victory over No. 2 Syracuse on May 3.

Princeton Junction resident Grayson Connors, a senior attackman for the Wesleyan University lacrosse team, was named to the All-NESCAC First Team. He scored 157 points over his four years and was fourth in career goals with 125.
