High School South is hosting its fourth annual “Back to the Basics” basketball clinic on Saturday, February 7. The clinic for children from ages 7 to 10 will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. For ages 10 to 13, the clinic will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Lisa and Jessica Guarneri, coaches of the girls’ varsity and junior varisty basketball teams at South, will be teaching and reviewing dribbing, shooting, passing, and layups. The cost is $20 per child to be paid in the gym. Participants are asked to bring their own basketballs.

Registration will be open for the WWP Babe Ruth Baseball spring 2009 season through Saturday, February 28. The league is for boys, ages 13 to 15 years as of April 30, 2009. The Mercer Masters, sponsored by the Princeton National Rowing Association, is holding an Open House on Saturday, February 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center at Mercer Lake. The Mercer Masters Rowing Program (for men and women ages 22 and older) offers participants coached physical fitness training in a social atmosphere. The spring season opens February 9 with the opportunity to participate in the Learn to Row Program or the Recreational or Competitive Programs for experienced rowers.
