Heather DeVito and Brian Mullen were married July 29 at Queenship of Mary Church in Plainsboro. She was featured in The News on May 24, 2002, in a story titled “Same Classroom, Different View,” about student teaching in the same classroom where she spent fourth grade.
The bride is the daughter of Dina and Dan DeVito of Plainsboro. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro, Class of 1998, she received her bachelor’s degree from Rider University, and is a kindergarten teacher in Montgomery.
Her attendants included maid of honor Kati DeVito (High School North, Class of 2002) and bridesmaids Susan Hart (Class of 1998), Jennifer Hackett, Jessica D’Accordo, and Candice Lopez.
The groom is the son of Sharon and Pat Mullen of Hamilton. Also a graduate of Rider University, he is assistant vice president of the data analytics group at Merrill Lynch in Plainsboro.
His attendants included best man Daniel Smith and groomsmen Anthony Chiorello, Michael Ettenger, Stephen Kochenour, and Sergio Delgado.
They had a honeymoon in St. Lucia and live in Lawrenceville.
Caitlin Aviss and Gavin B. McLaughlin were married June 10 at St. James Chapel in Pennington.
The bride is the daughter of Eileen Aviss Spedding of Pennington and Dr. Julian Aviss of Sussex, England. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and Douglass College, she received a juris doctor degree from Widener University School of Law. She is a deputy attorney general for New Jersey Division of Law.
The bridegroom is the son of Harry and Dolores McLaughlin of Cherry Hill. A graduate of Loyola College, he received a master’s degree in business administration from Villanova. He is an investment strategist for Wachovia Weath Management in Philadelphia.
Their honeymoon was in Anguilla and they live in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
