Plainsboro Fire Company’s annual Santa Ride will be conducted on Friday and Saturday, December 14 and 15.
“We are continuing with the format of a scheduled stop in each neighborhood, rather than trying to drive up and down each street,” says Deputy Chief Doug Vorp of the Plainsboro Fire Company. “This way we can help Santa to visit each neighborhood in a timely fashion — and we will be on a strict schedule.”
Signs will be posted at each “Santa Stop” area. “The times posted are approximate. We strongly suggest arriving at the site early as Santa’s Sleigh may arrive early”, says Vorp.
The schedule is as follows: Friday, December 14 (rain date Friday, December 21, at the same times), at the following locations:
Plainsboro Village at Okeson and Sullivan, 4:45 p.m.; Plainsboro Town Center at Macnamee and Wilson, 5 p.m.; Princeton Crossing at 76 Marion Drive, 5:15 p.m.; Wyndhurst Drive at Community Meeting Center, 5:25 p.m.; Hunters Glen Drive at building 4300, 5:40 p.m.; Tamarron Drive at building 8000 parking lot, 5:50 p.m.; Hampshire Drive at lot 39-51 by Tot lot, 6:10 p.m.; Ravens Crest Drive at lot 1100 by volleyball court, 6:20 p.m.; Ravens Crest Drive at lot 39, 6:30 p.m.

Avalon Watch, Sherbrook Drive, Sunnydale, Suffolk Lane, Norchester Drive, Lancashire, Sutton Lane, Landing Lane, Sarah Drive, Villa Drive, Cranbury Road, Stobe Lane, Joanne Street, Bolfmar Avenue, Yeger Road, Melville Road, Channing Way Steele Drive, Dean Court, Perry Drive, Clarksville Road, Penn Lyle Road, Canoe Brook Drive, Nassau Place, Ziff Lane, Princeton Place, Colonial Avenue, Arnold Drive, Hawk Drive, Hereford Drive, Worchester Lane, Yorktown Court, Indian Run Road, Wellington Drive, Benford Estates, and Berrien City.
On Sunday, December 16, Santa’s tour begins at 4 p.m. and covers the following areas:
Washington Road, Brookside Avenue, Manor Avenue, Fisher Place, Wallingford Drive, Fieldston Road, Coventry Circle Pierson Avenue, Mather Avenue, Varsity Avenue, Wilder Avenue, Fairview Avenue, Colonnade Pointe, Canal Pointe, Princeton Greens, Farber Road, Wheeler Way, Loetscher Place, Emmons Drive, Meadow Road, Estates at Princeton Junction, Bear Brook Road, and Windsor Haven.

West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company presents Operation Santa Claus on Sunday, December 16, Wednesday, December 19, and Friday, December 21. Saturday and Sunday, December 22 and 23, will be used for make up of areas missed due to weather issues or fire department operation requirements. After December 22, call Mike Leahy at 609-374-1836 if your street is missed. When you hear sirens and holiday music meet your neighbors at the corner; truck will not visit cul-de-sacs.
