The project began on August 18 and is expected to take four weeks to complete. Residents and commuters will continue experiencing delays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including alternating lanes of travel, through the length of the project.
The Plainsboro Township Committee awarded a $867,”432 contract to Lucas Bros. Inc. of Morganville in July. The bid from Lucas Bros. came in about $232,”000 less than township officials anticipated.
The project entails reconstruction of a large stretch of George Davison Road, from Cranbury Neck to Plainsboro roads, to replace the worn pavement.
