Princeton Police Department plans to close several roads on April 28 for Communiversity.
Road closures are scheduled to begin 11 a.m.
Closures include Nassau Street between Vandeventer Avenue and Chambers Street, Witherspoon Street Between Nassau Street and Paul Robeson Place/Wiggins Street, Palmer Square between Nassau Street and Palmer Square South, South Tulane Street from Nassau Street to the driveway behind 35 Spring Street and Hulfish Street from Witherspoon Street to Palmer Square East.
Spring Street is set to remain open one-way for access to the parking garage.
Police plan to post detours directing traffic onto Vandeventer Avenue, Wiggins Street, Paul Robeson Place and Chambers Street.
Regular bus stops within the festival area are set to be closed during the event. Passengers are set to be directed to the bus stops at 181 Nassau Street and on University Place.
The metered parking spaces between Chambers and John streets on the south side of Nassau Street are set to be used for handicapped parking.
Existing parking restrictions are set to be strictly enforced. Police plan to tow any vehicles parked on street in the festival area after 10:30 am on April 28.
Police suggest Communiversity attendees not leave bags, boxes backpacks, packages or any other containers unattended during the event.
Additionally, they suggest people attending should have a pre-determined plan to reunite with separated family members, children and friends.
