The fifth annual benefit for March of Dimes was held on Saturday, June 10, at High School North. Once again a sold-out event, the multi-cultural event featured dances and songs from around the globe with many of the performers from West Windsor and Plainsboro.
The dinner buffet was provided by Palace of Asia. A check for $50,”000 was presented onstage to March of Dimes representatives.
This year’s youth members included Poojitha Regulapati (chair), Rajvi Shah (vice chair), Aakash Bhatia, Ranajoy Bose, Neha Deshpande, Ronak Gandhi, Rhea Hans, Rima Kotak, Vishal Pathak, and Deeksha Taneja. Adult members included co-chairpeople Percis Bansal, Shaila Kotak, and Pinakin Pathak; founder and past chair Rahul Bansal, founder and past chair; Ruta Pathak, past chair; and mentors Rajat Bose, Anil Deshpande, Pallavi Gandhi, Usha Maharaj, Sangita Patel, and Kirti Pathak.
The event has raised more than $150,”000 since its inception five years ago.
