Aline Holmes of Plainsboro was promoted to the position of senior vice president of clinical affairs with New Jersey Hospital Association on Alexander Road in West Windsor. A registered nurse, she served as director of NJHA’s Quality Institute.
Holmes earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts; a master’s degree in nursing from Catholic University; and did post graduate work at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
She joined NJHA in 2002 after serving as corporate vice president of operations and patient services at Franciscan Health System of New Jersey. She has also served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corp.
In her new role, Holmes will be responsible for heading the Clinical Affairs Department and her department will serve as the central point for all quality initiatives. She will continue to work with the state’s healthcare professional boards as well as the chief nursing officer, physician executive, behavioral health, and other constituency groups.
