West Windsor-Plainsboro middle and high school Future Problem Solving teams made an impressive showing at the state bowl held Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, in New Brunswick. The teams won awards in all areas of competition, and will go on to compete in Ft. Collins, Colorado, in the international competition in June.##M:[more]##
In team problem solving competition, the district will be represented at the international competition in all three divisions by Community Middle School in the junior division, High School North in the middle division, and High School South in the senior division.
Community Middle School Future Problem Solvers team members include Michael Stern, Dhruv Patel, Nikita Barde, Jessica Li, Ahbinav Vaidyanathan, and Christopher Perron. High School North students include Steve Wang, Sruthi Janakiraman, Priyanka Tilve, and Aparna Shankar. They came first in the middle team division.
High School South’s Community Problem Solving Team will represent New Jersey.Sean Wu, a student at Grover Middle School, received first place in scenario writing in the junior division, and will be representing New Jersey. Stephanie Ku, a student at High School South, received first place in the middle division, and will also be representing the state.
The coaches include Holly Sassinsky, High School South; Joan Ruddiman, Grover Middle School; Karen Rosnick, Community Middle School; and Bob Glover, High School North.
