Princeton University’s Program in Visual Arts students are set to display their work in the Senior All-Star Show opening May 16.
The exhibition features work in a wide range of media by the Class of 2013 graduating seniors. It is scheduled for May 16 through June 2 in the Lucas Gallery at 185 Nassau Street.
The work to be exhibited was selected from paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, photography, film, video, performance and installations created by students earning a certificate in Visual Arts along with a degree in their major or a studio art degree.
Work set to be display is by Kathleen Brite, Bodo Buetzler, Chris Dodds, Isabel Flower, Eliot Gee, Lily Healey, Leana Hirschfeld-Kroen, Megan Karande, Polly Korbel, Charlotte Krause, John O’Neill, Laura Preston, Samantha Ritter and Ugo Udogwu.
Each presented a solo exhibition or screening of new work during the past semester as a requirement of the program. Many plan on continuing to work in the visual arts field when they graduate, while others will take what they have learned as student artists into a career in another field.
The Lucas Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Special additional hours during the university’s Reunion Weekend are June 1 and 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission is free.
