Dr. Denny
Princeton HealthCare System named Princeton resident Donald F. Denny Jr., MD, its senior vice president for Medical Affairs.
Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Denny has been a member of the PHCS Medical Staff since 1991 and formerly served as chairman of Radiology.
In his new role, Denny will have primary responsibility for the quality of care provided by all units of PHCS and provide leadership in all aspects of medical affairs.
Denny earned his Doctor of Medicine from Hahnemann Medical College (now Drexel University College of Medicine) and completed his internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he served as chief resident in diagnostic radiology.
He then completed a clinical fellowship in cardiovascular radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. His academic appointments include positions at Yale University, Harvard Medical School and Brown University.
Prior to joining PHCS, Denny was on staff at Rhode Island Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital. He also has served as President of the Radiology Society of New Jersey and President of Princeton Radiology Associates.
While serving as senior vice president for Medical Affairs, Denny will maintain a limited role as a private-practice interventional radiologist.
Dr. Denny and his wife, Catherine Knight, have lived in Princeton for 22 years. They have three adult daughters, Elizabeth, Catherine and Sarah.
