To The Editor:
Reading the answers to recent questions asked of the candidates, it makes the choice in the upcoming election in West Windsor an easy one. The answers clearly demonstrate that Mayor Hsueh, Linda Geevers, and Kamal Khana have the experience necessary to get the job done. The other wants to repeat mistakes from the past.##M:[more]##
Charlie and his running mates advocate using surplus to reduce taxes one time while willing to give up our AAA bond rating. After observing what has happened on Wall Street during the past year, I am amazed that Mr. Morgan continues to advance the idea of “Short term gain for long term pain.”
Several years ago, another candidate was elected as Mayor in West Windsor using the slogan “Stop Toll.” The result of this “take no prisoner” tactic was over 1,”000 houses built by Toll, while township lost control of the development. Given this history, it’s unbelievable Mr. Morgan continues to advocate the same “take no prisoner” approach. If he succeeds, the results for West Windsor will be disastrous.
“Just say NO” may be a good approach for drug prevention, but it’s ineffective when you are dealing with managing township affairs. Mr. Morgan has recently said “NO” to every major piece of legislation voted by the council and has been out voted 4-1 on each of these votes. How can someone with that record lead our township?
Mr. Morgan simply doesn’t have the temperament to lead our township and his running mates lack the necessary experience. I encourage you to look at record of both slates, read their rhetoric and evaluate who is likely to achieve best results for West Windsor. I am confident, that when you do, you will come to the same conclusion I did and vote for Hsueh for mayor and Linda Geevers and Kamal Khanna for township council.
Thank you,
