Several Mercer County artists are featured in an exhibition at the Chauncey Center Gallery.
The exhibition, entitled A Gallery 14 Sampler, includes work by nine photographers who are members of Gallery 14, a Hopewell-based co-op dedicated to fine art photography.
Gallery 14 members participating in the show have won awards for their photography and have work in public of private collections.
Work by one of the exhibitors, Ken Kaplowitz, a professor at the College of New Jersey, is in the permanent collections of the Johnson and Johnson Corporation, New Jersey State Museum, Seaton Hall University, Montclair State University, Printmaking Council of New Jersey and Montana Museum of Art and Culture.
In addition to Kaplowitz, who lives in Pennington, exhibitors include Princeton residents Carl Geisler, Larry Parsons and Richard Trenner, Martha Weintraub of Hillsborough, Charles Miller of Ringoes, Martin Schwartz of Cranbury, Rhoda Kassof-Isaac of Skillman and Theresa Hood of Glen Gardner.
The exhibition features abstractions, collages, digitally generated or enhanced prints, landscapes, still life and street photography. All work is for sale.
A Gallery 14 Sampler is set to run Jan. 17 to March 17. The Chauncey Center Gallery is located at Educational Testing Center, 660 Rosedale Road, Princeton.
Gallery 14 presents exhibitions by guest photographers as well as its members. In addition, it hosts a monthly discussion group and periodic workshops.
