Bike Collection

Mayors’ Bicycle and Pedestrian Task Force seeks used bicycles in repairable condition for Pedals for Progress. Donation day is Saturday, June 18, 9 a.m. to noon, at the West Windsor Farmers’ Market. Auditioners should prepare one complete song and bring sheet music (or recorded non-vocal accompaniment), photo, and resume. All roles are open for ages 15 and up. Name That Camp

Princeton Family YMCA seeks a new name for the reorganized camp. The name should incorporate values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and trust. Day Trip

Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park celebrate the 31st anniversary with a motor coach tour along the main line of the historic, 44-mile waterway that connected Bordentown and New Brunswick. Visit restored locks, walk along the aqueduct in Plainsboro, examine the mechanism that swung the railroad bridge in Princeton, and hear stories of the canal. Tour guides are Bob and Linda Barth. Arm & Hammer seeks the “Kid with the Sharpest Taste Buds” in an essay contest for kids ages 8 to 12.
