Kali McMillan, a West Windsor resident, a graduate of High School South, 2006, and a third year student at Colgate University, will have several of her photographs in several upcoming exhibits.
She has a series of photographs in the exhibit “Threads” at Gallery 125 in Trenton. The juried exhibit opens March 13 and runs through May 2. The photographs in the exhibit were taken during her semester abroad in London.
She also has a series of photographs in a traveling exhibit sponsored by Alcatel-Lucent in recognition and celebration of Woman’s History Month. The exhibit will be in Murray Hill to March 13. McMillan will take part in a panel discussion of her images in what it means to be a woman in Africa in the 21st century. Her photos were taken during her travels over several summers to various countries in West Africa.
McMillan, a member of the West Windsor Arts Council, has donated a photograph to benefit the organization at the second annual Cabin Fever Cabaret on Saturday, March 21.
