West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1991, is celebrating its 20th reunion on Saturday, October 22. As part of the national Drive to End Hunger and AARP’s annual Day of Service, members of New Jersey’s congressional delegation are hosting 19 food drop off sites throughout the state. Items will be delivered to Community FoodBank of New Jersey sites. Items most needed are canned fish and meat, powdered milk, boxed meals, canned packaged meals, peanut butter in plastic jars, and canned vegetables and fruits. Items may be brought to Congressman Rush Holt at 50 Washington Road, West Windsor through Friday, September 9; or to AARP, 101 Rockingham Row, Forrestal Village, Plainsboro, through Friday, September 16. Plainsboro Post Office has a back-to-school drive to benefit the Plainsboro Food Pantry through Saturday, September 17. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off during regular business hours. Shelf items needed include cold and hot cereals, juice, powered drink mixes, shelf stable milk, canned tuna and meat, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned and boxed meals, healthy snacks, and low or no sugar canned and packaged fruit. Donations will help Plainsboro children from economically disadvantaged families.

DanceVision has auditions for “The Snow Queen,” a new, original ballet by Risa Kaplowitz. Mercer County seeks traditional crafters for its inaugural Cultural Festival on Saturday, October 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. Mercer County Institute for the Arts, a theater program for adults with disabilities at Kelsey Theater, seeks non-disabled volunteers to assist actors backstage and offstage with entrances and exits.
