A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1995, she received a bachelor’s degree in theater and a master’s in teaching special education from the University of Virginia. She works as an actor and educational specialist.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Michael and Peg Ambrose of Wyncote, Pennsylvania, and Mary Joe Purcell of Terre Hill, Pennsylvania. An actor and a vocalist, he received a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. The couple lives in Los Angeles, California.
Nancy Higginbottom and Mark Whitney are planning a June, 2007, wedding on Block Island, Rhode Island.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patti and Jim Higginbottom of Oriental, North Carolina. A graduate of Rutgers College, she is a sales manager for GDB International in Edison.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Barbara Whiteney of East Windsor and Dennis and Marion Whitney of West Windsor. He attended Mercer County College, he is the proprietor of 48 Hour Productions, a New Jersey-based design studio.
