VK Theater Productions has auditions for the spring drama, a Southern Gothic piece from the 1950s, on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 209, at 6:30 p.m. at the Plainsboro Library. Great Clips in Nassau Park, West Windsor, and Hamilton Marketplace, are hosting a cut-a-thon on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 23 and 24 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The month-long promotion includes $1 donations from clients for a paper Miracle Balloon. The two salons, owned by Denise and Nick Schiera of West Windsor, will donate 25 percent of the sales from the two days.

Chang/Ferrara Productions has auditions for “Elegies: A Song Cycle by William Finn” on Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Kelsey Theater. Seeking three male (reading 18 and older) and two female (reading 25 and older). All must be strong singers and musicians.
