Robert B. David, 69, of West Windsor died September 28 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. A private interment was held at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.

Charles A. Sabato Jr., 79, died October 20 at the Princeton Forrestal Center, Plainsboro. Born in Peekskill, New York, he moved to Chesterfield in 1972. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II and retired in 1990 as an electrical engineer for GE Astro in East Windsor.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Peter A. and Hiromi Sabato of Edison and Stephen E. Sabato of Cookstown; and a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Warren Smiriglio of Wappingers Falls, New York.
John G. Peterson, 56, of West Windsor died October 23 in the Merwick Rehabilitation and Care Center, Princeton. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Bellmore, NY, and had lived in West Windsor for 14 years. A graduate of Hofstra University, he worked with Thermo Fisher Scientific Company of Morris Plains.
Survivors include his wife Ann Murphy Peterson of West Windsor; a daughter, Shannon Peterson of Van Nuys CA; two sons, Bryan Peterson of Turnersville, and Michael Peterson of West Windsor; and a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Rick Collins of Laguna Niguel, CA.
Antoinette Nettie, 89, of Hightstown died on October 24. Survivors include her two children, Eloise Tomei and Alexander J. Tomei Jr., both of West Windsor, and her two granddaughters, Erika and Julia Tomei.
Violeta Sison Pangasnan, 69, died October 24. Survivors include her daughter, Rosanna Pangasnan of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to St. Marys Church-Parish of Resurrection, 219 Third Street, Jersey City 07302.
Marie B. Reed, 91, of Columbia, PA died October 25 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia. Born in Robbinsville, she lived in West Windsor and Monroe for most of her life before moving to Columbia seven months ago. A long time member of the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, she occasionally had her poetry published in West Windsor Plainsboro Chronicle’s “Country Style” column.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Reverend James Cortelyou of Lake Luzerne, New York; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Palma Reed of Mountville, PA, and William and Danielle Reed of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Donald R. Appleby, 71, of Seaside Park, died October 26 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was the former director of special services for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.
Appleby, who received a master’s degree in education from Rutgers University, taught history at South River and Sayreville high schools. He was a school psychologist in the Princeton school system before working with West Windsor-Plainsboro School District.
Survivors include five sons, Donald R. Appleby, Jr., of Hummelstown, PA, Peter M. Appleby of Irvine, CA, Paul Appleby of East Windsor, Gary D. Appleby of Plainsboro, and Michael Appleby of New Haven, CT.
Lillian Eland, 89, of West Windsor died October 26 at the Elms of Cranbury. Born in the Bronx, New York, she was a graduate of the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and had post graduate studies at New York University School of Nursing. A registered nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association of New York, she served in the U.S. Army as a nurse in France during World War II.
Survivors include her husband, Paul D. Eland; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Holly Eland of West Windsor; a brother, Daniel Paver of North Bethesda, MD; a sister, Naomi Myles of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren, Ariel and Jeremy.
Linda V. Gunderman, 56, of Hamilton died October 29 at home. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Michael L. and Wanda Gunderman of West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memorial Department, 501 Street, Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Ann T. Baldino, 96, of West Windsor died October 30 in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Ischia, Italy, she lived in Penns Neck since 1947. A member of the Princeton Junction Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, she retired in 1988 with more than 27 years of service as a clerk with Educational Testing Service.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, John J. and Cheryl Baldino of Montgomery Township, L. Lonnie and Karen Baldino of Lambertville; a sister, Jane Poore of Visalia, CA; three grandchildren, Jeff, Andrew, and Alyssa; and a caregiver, Assunta Luci.
Calling hours are Friday, November 2, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
