At its meeting on February 9, Plainsboro Township Committee appointed Edward Herman to fill the post of municipal judge that will become vacant when the current judge, Richard Kracht, retires at the end of February after serving for 10 years.##M:[more]##
Herman’s appointment comes after a search that attracted 42 candidates. He will fill the remaining two years of Kracht’s term and will then be eligible for a reappointment to a three-year term.
Herman comes to Plainsboro with 18 years of experience as a municipal court judge in three Middlesex County municipalities. He has also served on an “acting” basis in Plainsboro. A resident of Edison Township, he is a partner in the law firm of Hill Wallack in Princeton. He has a B.A. from Albright College and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
