A daughter, Rivka/Rebecca, was born to West Windsor residents Rabbi Sholom and Aliza Leverton on November 22. Her siblings include Toby, Mendel, Ari, and Avraham.

Betty Lou Gibson, 76, of Columbus died November 14. She was a purchasing agent with Firmenich in Plainsboro for more than 20 years. Donations may be made to Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley, 200 Kirk Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

Elsie Brown, 69, of Plainsboro died November 16. No further information is available. Arrangements were by Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, Virginia.

Joseph Cullen Hartley Sr., 94, died November 18. Survivors include a granddaughter, Heather Chauvin Hallett of West Windsor. Donations may be made to St. Catherine’s Village, 200 Dominican Drive Madison, MS 39110.

Doris Herbert, 94, of East Brunswick died November 18. Survivors include son and daughter in law, David and Philomena Herbert of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Milltown Rescue Squad, Box 308, Milltown 08850.

Patrick J. Tobin, 63, of Roselle Park died November 20. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen A. Tobin and James Appenzeller of West Windsor; and a granddaughter, Leah Tobin Appenzeller. Donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research, Central Jersey Chapter, 740 Broad Street, Shrewsbury 07702.

Rose Kovacs, 83, of Woodbridge died November 22. Survivors include a son, Alexander M. Kovacs of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902.

Vincent M. Cannuli, 64, of Hamilton died November 22. He worked for RCA Labs in West Windsor and was active in Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro.

Samantha Blinder Weinstein, 61, of Plainsboro died November 24 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a teacher at Crossroads Middle School in South Brunswick for 19 years.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Monte Weinstein; her daughter, Jenny Weinstein and her fiance Michael of Lambertville; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Renee Blinder of West Palm Beach, FL; cousin, Sharon Gargano; friends, Laurel Hall, June Benjamin, and Lois Jones; and her dog, Maggie.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902 or the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20037.

Francia A. Francisco, 32, of Ewing died November 24. Born in the Dominican Republic, she came to the United States in 1992, and was a longtime Plainsboro resident before moving to Ewing a year ago.

She received a bachelor’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and was the vice president of Miller Logistics in Dayton for the past seven years. She enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and playing volleyball.

Survivors include her husband, Giorgio Laperchia of Ewing; her parents, Francisco and Natalia Leonardo Francisco; nieces, Leilani, Natalie, and Alexa, for whom she cared; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Francisco and Jose Frias; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Rafael and Kenia Francisco, and Victor Francisco and Isaury Rodriguez.

David E. La Beur Jr., 81, of Micco, Florida, died November 26. Born in Lakewood, he was a corporal in the Air National Guard during the Korean War. He was active in the Princeton Junction Fire Company.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Shirley H. La Beur of Micco; daughter, Susan La Beur of Sebastian, Florida; sons, David La Beur of Green Cove Springs, Dennis La Beur of Micco, and Duane La Beur of Margate; and four grandchildren. Donations may be made to Homeless Family Center, 720 4th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32962.

Charles Brim, 77, of Pennington died November 26. Survivors include a daughter, Heidi Brim of Plainsboro.

George E. Boyer, 81, of Washington, died November 27. Survivors include a son, Jeff Boyer of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to the Mt. Pisgah AME Church, Box 393, Washington 07882.

Alexander J. Burns, 91, of Wrightstown died November 27. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alexander Burns Jr. and wife Bonnie of West Windsor. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt with interment to follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. Donations may be made to the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive, Triangle, VA 22172.

Eugene Zuckerman, 93, of Memphis, Tennessee, died November 28. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Emmy Zuckerman and Ed Bonfield of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America or to the Eden Autism Services Foundation.

Ralph W. Duncan Sr., 89, of Matawan died November 29. Survivors include granddaughter Rebecca Mooney and her husband Justin of Plainsboro. Visitation will be Friday, December 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Bedle Funeral Home, 212 Main Street, Matawan. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury 07702, or First Baptist Church of Matawan, 232 Main Street, Matawan 07747.

Gurcharan Kaur Tuteja, 66, of West Windsor died November 10 at Princeton Medical Center. Born in India, and lived in West Windsor since 1986. She was a teacher in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School district. Survivors include her husband, Kuldeep; her two daughters, Bittoo and Anita; and her son and daughter-in-law, Vikram and Shweta.
