Teresa M. Arcarese, 96, of Claymont, Delaware, died January 12 in Wilmington Hospital in Delaware. A longtime New Jersey resident, she graduated from Bloomsburg State Teachers College in 1929 and Trenton State College in 1952. She taught at Plainsboro-Walker Gordon School.

Mario De Carolis, 81, of Old Bridge died February 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in North Africa and Italy.
A graduate of Fredonia State College, he had a long career as a teacher and as a musician. He was a longtime music therapist at Skillman Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital and high school concert and marching band director at East Brunswick schools. President of the Musicians Union local 204 for 15 years, he received a Duke Ellington Award for his musical achievements.
Survivors include a daughter, Yvonne Amalina De Carolis of Plainsboro.
Connie Lee Cowen, 65, of Plainsboro died on February 14 in University Medical Center at Princeton.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Paul Kelly of Plainsboro, and Maureen and John Chervenick of Forked River; and son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jennifer Callahan of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

William E. Flock Jr., 83, died February 16 in the Hospice House North, Cape Coral, Florida. Born and raised in Allentown, he is a former resident of West Windsor.
A farmer, he was involved in the New Jersey and Missouri Farm Bureaus and was a former president of the New Jersey Tomato Growers Association. He was also a former member, deacon, and president of the board of trustees at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Mather Flock, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and Donald Benedetti of Chesterfield, Mollie and Bruce Foster of Davenport, Indiana, and Patricia Jane Flock and her partner Sheila Mielcarek of Phoenix, Arizona; three sons and one daughter-in-law William III “Skip” and Kathy Flock of Cairo, Missouri, Richard Mather Flock of Trenton, Harry Herbert Flock of Moberly, Missouri, a sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth Jane and Frank Jones of Bridgewater; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia S. Dzurkoc, 81, of West Windsor died February 18 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, she was raised in Monmouth Junction. She retired after 49 years with Princeton University.

William T. Smith, 77, a former West Windsor resident, died February 18 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in New York, he lived in Fairlawn most of his life.

Lillian Meyer Mount, 90, of Newtown, Pennsylvania died February 20 at Pennswood Village. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Cranbury. After marrying Bernard Mount in 1936, they raised their children on the family farm on Route 1 in West Windsor. She later lived in Grovers Mill and Monroe.

Adele Miller, 88, of Robbinsville died February 27. She was an active member of the West Windsor Senior Center and was the choral director of the West Windsor Warblers.
Born in Manhattan, she graduated from Hunter College in 1940, and later received a master’s in library sciences from C.W. Post.
Survivors include three sons, Edward, Benjamin, and Daniel; two grandchildren, Ian of Staten Island, and Ross, of Manchester, New Hampshire; a daughter-in-law, Gayle of Staten Island; and a niece, Lauren of Los Angeles.
Catherine Slipka, 98, of West Windsor died February 26 at home. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, she lived in West Windsor for seven years.

Valerie Taft, 66, of Plainsboro died February 27 in the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born and raised in Duryea, Pennsylvania, she lived in Plainsboro for 28 years. She retired after 26 years with IBM of Dayton.
Survivors include her husband Frederick J. Taft Jr. of Plainsboro; two sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Laurie Taft of Atlanta, Georgia, and Gary Allen Taft of Plainsboro; a brother, Joseph Wycallis of Jacksonville, Florida; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan, Briana, and Steven Taft.
