Auditions

Villagers Theater seeks actors of all ages for “Cinderella.” Auditions for ages 16 and up are Monday and Wednesday, March 19 and 21, at 7:30 p.m. Auditions for children ages 6 to 12 are Wednesday, March 21, at 6 p.m. Prepare 16 bars of a Broadway show (not from Cinderella). New Jersey Arts Collaborative seeks auditioners for its annual showcase. Trenton Film Festival seeks short films by amateur and professional filmmakers in central New Jersey and Bucks County areas. Must be under 30 minutes and be available in VHS, NTSC, or DVD. Nominations Open

Kidsbridge invites principals, superintendents, and teachers in Mercer County to nominate a child, a group of children, or a colleague that has demonstrated an extraordinary act of kindheartedness, service to the community, peaceful resolution of conflict, or compassion for the less fortunate. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 23. Awards will be made to individuals, to small groups, and a teacher, a guidance counselor, and a principal who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in character education. Winning students, family members, and nominating teachers will be honored guests at the 2007 Kidsbridge Young Humanitarian Awards Ceremony and Family Festival to be held in late May. Princeton Center for Yoga & Health is conducting a research study for individuals with multiple sclerosis. Elizabeth Harper, a doctoral student at New York University’s department of therapeutic recreation, will investigate the effects of two different recreation activities on respiratory muscle strength, posture, fatigue, and quality of life. New Jersey Idol

Freehold Center Partership launched a statewide talent search for the Freehold Idol. Auditions will be held on 10 consecutive Wednesdays, beginning June 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Freehold. Contestants must be a 2007 high school graduate or between ages 18 and 27.
