This year’s fall sports season will open the first full week of September. For WW-P sports enthusiasts many of the crosstown rival matches between high schools North and South loom relatively early in the season.
The North and South football teams both open their seasons on Saturday, September 11, at 1 p.m. North will host Trenton. South will play Rancocas Valley.
The two teams will face each other on Saturday, October 16, at 2 p.m at South.
Both the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams at North and South will face each other on Thursday, September 16, at 4 p.m. The boys will play at North, while the girls will play at South. The North and South tennis teams will also face each other early, on Monday, September 13, at 4 p.m. at South.
The North and South volleyball teams will face each other on Tuesday, September 28, at 5:30 p.m. at North, while North and South field hockey teams will play on Friday, September 24, at 4 p.m. at North.
