Mary Mallery of West Windsor is one of the 22 contributors to the newly-published edition of Kelsey Review, published annually by Mercer County Community College. Selections were chosen by a five-person editorial board.##M:[more]##
Mallery’s short story, “Jump Start,” is about a woman who is moving from the East Coast to Oregon a year after graduating from college. It starts like this: “Some actions have no consequences. Like when you turn the key in the ignition and nothing happens. You expect the surge of the engine, but instead all you hear is ‘click.’ My life was like that the year after college graduation.”
Mallery has published stories and poems in past issues of the Review, as well as in U.S. 1’s summer fiction issue, and other small press journals.
