Anna Soroka Zvir, 87 of Plainsboro died December 14 in her home. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, she lived in Plainsboro for the last eight years.
Survivors include her three daughters, Susan Giusto of Plainsboro, Deborah Morrissey of Columbus, Ohio, and Linda Arciuolo of Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania; her sisters, Catherina Belghaus of Fair Lawn and Mary Moran of Bethpage, New York; her sister-in-law, Irene Soroka of Commack, New York; and her six grandchildren. Mary Lou Sauer, 52, of Plainsboro died December 12 at University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Belleville, she was a former Sayreville resident. She worked at the New York Sports Club as a massage therapist.
Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Lynne Sauer and Stephen and Jo Emma Sauer; and eight nieces and nephews.

Mario R. D’Antonio, 79, of Plainsboro died December 17 at home.
Born in Naples, Italy, he arrived in Trenton when he was six, and was raised on South Broad Street behind his father’s barber shop. He was apprenticed to the tailoring department of the English Shop in Princeton at age 12. After graduating from Hamilton High School in 1944, he enlisted in the Army. He served in World War II and received the Medal of Good Conduct, the American Theater Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Ribbon.
He graduated from Lehigh with bachelor degrees both in mathematics and industrial engineering.
He taught mathematics at the Lawrenceville School and Trenton Junior College (later called Mercer County Community College). He founded Trenton Textile Manufacturing Company in Trenton in 1959, and East Wind Industries in Delaware.
Head of Mercer County Improvement Authority, he was chairman of the Mercer County Democratic Party in the early 1970s. After retiring he was an engineering consultant to Genesis Limited and advised the company on government contracts.
Survivors include his partner, Lilian Kaplan; son John of Hopewell Township, daughter and son-in-law Ann D. and Andrew M. Dry of Wassanaar, the Netherlands; and grandchildren John, Natalie, and Peter D’Antonio, Harry D. Dry, and William D. Dry.
Richard J. Messinger, 57, of Plainsboro died December 17 at Capital Health System’s Mercer Campus.
Born in the Bronx, he was a former Freehold resident. A former president of the Newark Traffic Club and a hazardous materials instructor, he was vice president of Messinger Trucking and Warehouse Corporation in Newark.
He was a graduate of Oklahoma City University and served in the Army reserve.
Survivors include his fiancee, Arlene Isaacson; sons David and Scott Messinger, Jack Howard-Potter, and Peter Isaacson; daughter, Erica Howard-Potter; brother Lawrence Messinger; and mother Deanne Messinger.

Veronica L. Becker, 49, of Hightstown died December 20 at home. Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong resident of Hightstown. She was a graduate of the Burlington County Special Services High School.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Gerald Hullfish of Plainsboro. Her sister is the Plainsboro Township clerk.

Anna K. Pomianoski, 86, of Acorn Glen in Princeton died at Park Place Nursing Home in South Brunswick. She was a former resident of Plainsboro for 61 years. She retired from Educational Testing Service in 1982 with 29 years of service.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward Pomianoski of Howell, and Michael and Brenda Pomianoski of Skillman; and one granddaughter, Lisa Ann Parry of Valparaiso, Indiana.
