The Isles of Trenton’s YouthBuild program recently completed its annual summer Morven Museum & Garden Internship.
The program offers students the opportunity to learn about different aspects of gardening and horticulture while getting a friendly introduction to a real life work in the industry by doing projects at Morven in Princeton.
The students also participated in projects at Drumthwacket, Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed, and the Trent House, and visited the horticulture department at Mercer County College.
Interns are paid a competitive hourly wage and upon completion receive a certificate and letter of recommendation. Underwriting is provided by Janssen Pharmaceuticals and PSE&G.
