Emory College of Arts and Sciences: Sheena Desai of West Windsor was named to the dean’s list. Carissa Hunter of West Windsor was named to the honor list of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University. Stephen Ellwood of West Windsor received a bachelor of science degree.
Fairfield University: Christina Dunne of West Windsor was named to the dean’s list.
Frostburg State University: Bryan Lentine of West Windsor is on the dean’s list.
Gettysburg College: Wing Yee Wong of Plainsboro graduated as a biology major. Sarah Alesio of West Windsor graduated as an organization and management studies major. They are both on the spring dean’s commendation list.
University of Hartford: Andrew Steinberg of Plainsboro is on the dean’s list.
Loyola University Maryland Rachael Degnan of West Windsor is on the dean’s list.
Marist College: Nicole Giambagno of Plainboro is on the dean’s list. The junior is majoring in fashion merchandising.
Plymouth State University: Eurie Han of West Windsor earned an MBA in general management.
University of Rhode Island: Students on the dean’s list include Marcus C. Allen of Plainsboro; and West Windsor residents Hannah A, Loeb, Jessica R. Corrado, and Melissa Erin Lichtman.
Rider University’s Westminster Choir College: Area students on the dean’s list Jordan Carroll of West Windsor, a music education major; and Jason Rand of Plainsboro, a theory and composition major. Elizabeth Hermanson of Plainsboro graduated with a choral conducting major.
Rochester Institute of Technology’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences: Prasant Nanisetty of West Windsor, a fifth-year student in the game design and development program, is on the spring dean’s list.
Dudley H. Rivers Jr. of West Windsor was inducted to the Rutgers Board of Governors. Past chair of Rutgers’ Board of Trustees and an alumnus, his term runs through June, 2019.
Rivers was a Henry Rutgers Scholar and earned a bachelor of arts in 1982 from Rutgers College, now part of the university’s School of Arts and Sciences. He earned an MBA from Columbia University in 1984. Rivers is the finance director with Global Financial Service at Johnson & Johnson corporate headquarters in New Brunswick.
“His distinguished career in corporate finance will serve the Board of Governors and entire university community well,” said Rutgers President Robert L. Barchi.
Besides serving as Board of Trustees chair, Rivers, a Loyal Sons of Rutgers award recipient, served three one-year terms as vice chair. He has held a range of committee and learning group assignments since becoming a charter trustee in 2002. Rivers also was a member of a joint board task force on health and science education.
Rivers has been treasurer of the H.E.R.O.S. Mentoring Program and a member of the Rutgers College dean’s advisory board and presidential search committee.
Sacred Heart University: Lauren Oleskiewicz of Plainsboro earned a master of arts in teaching.
Thomas Jefferson University: Evan Obler of Plainsboro is on the spring dean’s list. He is majoring in radiologic sciences.
Trinity College: Connor McElligott of West Windsor received faculty honors.
Tufts University: Jacquelyn Kercheval of West Windsor, Class of 2014; Lillian Lu of Plainsboro, Class of 2015; Prachi Sharma of Plainsboro, Class of 2015; and Nicole Campellone of West Windsor, Class of 2016, are on the dean’s list.
University of Vermont: On the dean’s list are Akriti Bhargava of Plainsboro, a freshman political science major, and Ryan E. Sleeper of West Windsor, a senior environmental sciences major.
Wake Forest University: Tiffany Kichline of West Windsor was named to the spring dean’s list.
Washington University in St. Louis: Jake Daniel Hoyne of Plainsboro was named to the dean’s list. Hoyne is a student in the university’s engineering school.
Widener University: Rachel Lewinson of West Windsor received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology on May 18.
