First grader joins 2015 NJ Hunger Project volunteers

Kraus and the other volunteers worked to assemble 50,000 lentil soup meal packs that were donated to Mercer Street Friends and Community Food Bank of NJ.

First grade student Alexa Kraus volunteered at the 2015 NJ Hunger Project held on August 1, 2015 at Robbinsville High School.

Kraus and the other volunteers worked to assemble 50,000 lentil soup meal packs that were donated to Mercer Street Friends and Community Food Bank of NJ. Kraus got to see firsthand how even a child can help make a difference in fighting childhood hunger in her community.
