Chabad of the Windsors held its Menorah lighting ceremony at McCaffrey’s Supermarket in West Windsor on Sunday, December 21. The program began with a magic show and was followed by a choir presentation. Participants enjoyed arts and crafts, Judaica, latkes, donuts, and dreidels. Max Steinberg of Plainsboro lit the first candle along with Rabbi Sholom Leverton, director of Chabad of the Windsors and a West Windsor resident.
Leverton also supervised the installation of the large Menorah at the corner of Clarksville and Princeton-Hightstown roads near the town’s holiday tree. David Kalmus of West Windsor volunteered to “light” it every night.
