Elica Lauren Suzuki, 7, of Plainsboro died April 25 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. A lifelong resident, she was a student at the Town Center Elementary School.##M:[more]##

Survivors include her parents Ron and Kate Suzuki; her brother Ken Richard Suzuki; and her maternal grandparents, Ken and Yoko Suzuki of Japan.

A student at Princeton Dance and Theater Studio for three years, the school created the Elica Suzuki Scholarship Fund to benefit underprivileged youngsters in receiving dance training and related necessities. Donations may be sent to PDT, 116 Rockingham Row, Princeton 08540.

Susan Scarpellino Tiernan of Tucson, Arizona, died at her home. Survivors include a sister, Donna Senopoulos of Plainsboro. Donations may be made to Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, University Medical Center, Box 245117, Tucson, AZ 86724.

Marjorie R. Holiday, 93, of Sarasota died April 16. A graduate of NYU and Katherine Gibbs, she was a former elder in the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church and chairwoman of the World Service Committee in the Princeton area. Survivors include a son, Richard of Columbia, South Carolina; a daughter, Ellen Christenberry of Athens, Georgia; grandsons; and a great-granddaughter. Frank A. Tylus, 81, of Baltimore, Maryland, died April 17, at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Born and raised in Trenton, he was a 50-year resident of West Windsor. A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in business administration, Tylus had a career in business with RCA Laboratories, E. R. Squibb Corporation, and the Siemens Corporation.

Survivors include his children, F. Kevin and Ginger Tylus of Skillman, Karen E. and Jay Graff of Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania, and Jennifer and Tim Metzger of Hamilton; grandchildren Megan E. and Jared Butcher, Lindsey A. and Stephen Foster, Kevin B. Tylus, Kelsey G. Tylus, Justine N. and Shane Graff, and Angela F. Graff; and great-granddaughter, Addison Kelsey Butcher. He is also survived by his fiancee, Mary Ann Yanus of Carroll Valley, a brother, Stanley J. Tylus of Trenton; sisters-in-law, Doris Tylus and Margaret Tylus; mother-in-law, Angelina Diaforli; sisters-in law, Carrie Moore, Nancy Rhodes, and Judith Davison; and brother-in-law, Robert Diaforli.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was active with American Legion Post 76, the Korean War Veterans Association, and the Spirit of Princeton Memorial Day Parade Committee.

Oliver O. Hillpot, 78, of West Windsor died April 17, at Compassionate Care at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Princeton, he graduated from Princeton High School, Class of 1948.

After serving as a Marine, he was employed by the government at Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force Base until his retirement in 1985. He also co-owned B & O Catering business. Active in the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck; the Scottish Rite Valley of Central Jersey, Crescent Shrine AAONMS; and Princeton Masonic Lodge 38.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Nick; daughter and son-in-law, Robin Lyn and Thomas Schwing; son and daughter-in-law, Todd Oliver and Lynda Hillpot; and grandchildren, Thomas Oliver and Elizabeth Schwing, and Michelle Hillpot.

Barbara Myrna Hurwitz, 78, died April 19. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Rachelle Hurwitz of Plainsboro. Evelyn Rudich Lombardo, 76, of Plainsboro died April 21 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to Plainsboro 10 years ago. Lombardo was an administrative assistant at the Polytechnic University before retiring.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Yvette Rudich of Cranbury, and three grandchildren, Ian, Ryan and Zachary. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Vincent Mr. Vincent J. Lessa, 81, of Marietta, Georgia died Wednesday, April 22. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tony Caputo of West Windsor. Donations may be made to the Foundation of Wesley Woods, Emory University, 1817 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322.

Gene Saunders, 53, of Hammonton, died April 22 in Plainsboro. Born in Hammonton, he was an electrician with IBEW Local #456 in North Brunswick. Survivors include his wife: Bonnie J. Sanders; son, Gene T. Saunders of Hammonton; daughter, Erin Kaye Saunders Schwartz of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister, Sharon Renart of Corbin City; and two grandchildren, Jordan Schwartz and Madison Schwartz.
