Frances Pichie-Haller, 66, of Plainsboro died March 2 at Merwick Rehab Hospital & Nursing Care. Born in Alberta, Canada, she was an area resident for many years.

As an international flight attendant for Trans World Airlines for more than 40 years, she flew the Pacific routes from San Francisco and Los Angeles and the European and Middle Eastern routes from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. She retired from American Airlines after continuing her career there. She was an active member of Silver Wings, an organization of retired flight attendants.

Survivors include her sister, Gail Piche; a niece in California; and cousins in Oregon and Canada.

Donations may be made to a cancer charity of the donor’s choice.

Ida Esposito, 79, of Columbus died March 4 at University Medical Center at Princeton.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia and the late John Ryan of West Windsor; and grandchildren, Laura, Colin, Kristen, Emily, Benedict, Kelsey, Brendan, and Kyle.

Robert H. Reed, 71, formerly of West Windsor Township, died March 5 while skiing in Ogden, Utah. Born in West Windsor Township, he was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1952, and attended Rider College. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict and served from 1952 until 1956.

Reed farmed in West Windsor Township with his father, Horace I. Reed, until 1987, when he moved to Hopewell Township where he continued to farm with his son, Robert L. Reed and son-in-law, Abe Bakker.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck in West Windsor Township where he taught Sunday school and served as a deacon and trustee. Reed served on numerous committees in both West Windsor and Hopewell townships and also on a number of local and national agricultural boards. Most recently he served on the Hopewell Township Planning Board for 18 years and as chairman for seven years.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Doris Wismer Reed; five children, Dr. Jennifer R. Bakker, Heather R. Brakel, Gretchen W. Reed, Gaye R. Martin, and Robert L. Reed; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Jean R. Tindall.

Mary V. Capria, 75, of Hamilton died March 6 in the Mercerville Center. Survivors include a brothers and sister-in-law, John and Naomi Sparks of West Windsor.

Laurence T. Susman, 76, of West Windsor died March 4 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he was a resident of Westfield for 44 years before moving to West Windsor.

A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, he was sales manager of the Elgin Watch Company before retiring. He served in the Naval Reserve.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Goldman Susman; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven Susman of Rahway, Dr. Jeffrey and Linda Susman of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Thomas Susman of Las Vegas, NV; and three grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

John Scott Bechtel, 63, died March 6 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. A former Plainsboro resident, he was on the Plainsboro Planning Board from 1976 to 1981, and was a Cub Scout Leader for Troop 66 and Boy Scout Leader for Troop 168.

Born in Reading, PA he lived in Atlanta, GA and Plainsboro before moving to Little Silver 20 years ago. He was a consultant at SAP America, in Philadelphia. A graduate from University of California-Hayward, he received his master’s degree in math from Rider.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Dawn Giacona Bechtel; a son, Tobin Bechtel of Atlanta; a brother, William Bechtel of Scotia, NY; a sister, Barbara Wolfe of Lebanon, PA; and two grandchildren. Donald Nelson, 69, of West Windsor died March 8 in Budapest, Hungary. He was a coach for the West Windsor Little League and PBA Basketball League. Nelson was an lifetime employee with IBM.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Oksana of Chester, Glenn and Rashmi of Locust Valley, NY, Grant of Dayton Beach, FL, and Griffin of Falls Church, VA; daughter and son-in-law Greer and Rene van Dorp of Falls Church, VA; and granddaughter Madeline van Dorp.

Pamela Isabella, 57, of Randolph, died March 8. Survivors include a sister, Bonnie Zoller of West Windsor. Donations may be made to Operation Sunshine, Box 6382, Parsippany 07054.

Dr. Cornelius John Tyson Jr., 87, of New York City, died March 9. Survivors include a son, Robert Hale of Plainsboro.

Walter V. Dobrowolski, 86, of Trenton died March 11 at Crystal Lake Nursing Center in Bayville. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Ted Wagner of Plainsboro; and grandchildren, Jeffrey and Brian Wagner. Jane LiCausi died March 11 at Windrows at Forrestal. Born in Palermo, Italy, she settled in New York City in 1908. Over the years she lived in Elizabeth, Clark, North Plainfield, and Montgomery.

Stephanie Au-Yeung, 17, of West Windsor died in an automobile accident on March 12. She was a senior at High School North.

She was involved in the Chinese community and was an instructor at the Chinese Heritage School of New Jersey. At China Night 2006, she was co-choreographer and a dancer in a modern dance. At school, she was in honors and advanced placement classes and competed in track.

Survivors include her parents, Wai Au-Yeung and Lezlee M. Ho Au-Yeung; and her brother Steven, a sophomore at High School North.

A memorial service will be Thursday, March 23, 9 a.m., at Brunswick Memorial Park, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 22, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Luigi Nichol Matarese, 83, of West Windsor died at home on March 13. Born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he was raised on the island of Ischia in Italy and lived in West Windsor for 42 years.

He was employed as a cook at Nassau Inn, retiring in 1987 after nearly 38 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dolores; son Ralph and daughter-in-law Joanne Matarese of Hamilton; son, Anthony Matarese of Jupiter, Florida; daughter and son-in law Mariann Matarese and Michael Applebaum of Yardley, PA; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Marlea, and Reese.
